You get to decide what your gift supports. Choose from a variety of causes that range from the university's greatest needs to student athletics or, to undergraduate and graduate programs and centers.

Absolutely! Support from everyone in the Cal Lutheran community (alumni, friends, family, faculty, staff, and students) counts on this day.

Is my gift tax-deductible?

Yes. California Lutheran University is a non-profit institution. You will receive an email receipt after you’ve made your gift.

Do you accept gifts in kind (GIK) for Giving Tuesday? 

Generally speaking the university is constrained on space and will only accept GIKs under rare circumstances, and we require the donor to provide documentation that establishes the market value of the item from an authorized appraiser. Even in these cases, the university must reserve the right not to accept the donated item.

I would like to donate to a cause that is not listed. How do I find that?
